Glittering Cookies

The Purl Bee created some truly cute little cookies.
How perfect are they for the holidays?
Rolled in sanding sugar, they add some sparkle to the holidays.

Desserts

Do you have tried-and-true holiday food traditions?
I am still testing the waters with a few Christmas desserts,
and I think due to the simplicity, this recipe is up next.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Sandwich

This recipe looks fantastic for the holidays.
(Because you are allowed to eat terribly wonderful things for Christmas...)
Try the recipe here.

Mini Chicken Pot Pie

Chicken pot pie is my ultimate comfort food.
It is especially perfect on a blustery fall day (and in miniature form.)

Tea Cup

While I'm not that big on tea, this is one cool tea cup.
You steep and drink in the same cup,
just by tilting it from one side to another.
Pretty clever.
Buy it here.

A Crate & Barrel Thanksgiving

I can't wait to try some of Crate & Barrel's Thanksgiving food.
Cranberry Sauce looks so much more appetizing from the Barefoot Contessa,
and how yummy would pumpkin spice pancakes be Thanksgiving morning?
What better football game snack could there be than roasted pumpkin and corn salsa (!!)
and a simple way to use up leftover turkey.
They definitely hit the mark this year.

Squeezeable Salt and Pepper

These quirky salt and pepper shakers are pretty great.
Squeeze instead of shake!

Amish Peanut Butter

The biggest perk to growing up in northern Indiana
has to be Amish Peanut Butter.
This is seriously one of those 'gone in less than 24 hours' items.
It would make an excellent gift if I could stand to give it up to anyone.
I have a hard enough time sharing with my Husband.

Buy it here
(Along with more great Amish food, you honestly cannot go wrong at that store)
